Description:

Surrender V is a modification for GTA V that offers players the ability to surrender in any scenario, enhancing the realism and immersion of the game. This mod goes beyond the basic arrest mechanics found in the vanilla version by providing a detailed arrest system.

Features:

    • Controls:

    For keyboard:

    Press 'Z' to surrender
    Press 'F11' to display the menu
    Press 'SPACE' to attempt to lockpick the door
    For controller:

    Press 'D-Pad Down' and 'A' (Xbox) / 'X' (PlayStation) to surrender.
    Press 'D-Pad Left' and 'B' (Xbox) / 'Circle' (PlayStation) to display the menu.
    Press 'A' (Xbox) / 'X' (PlayStation) to attempt to lockpick the door
    You can customize these controls to fit your preferences via the INI file.

    A mod that enables interiors (optional but highly recommended, e.g., Open All Interiors)

    Installation:

    Simply drag and drop the DLL, INI, and XML files into your script folder.

    Known Bugs:

    The vanilla busted system may interfere with the script.

  • Bail payment: Upon release, the full bail amount is due within seven days. This feature is optional and can be disabled via the native menu settings.
  • Better Chases Plus Compatibility: This mod now supports Better Chases Plus via a separate version in the zip file.

    • Enhancements:

  • Various animations such as the arrest and surrendering animations have been enhanced.
  • The police will now surround the player when surrendering.

  • The vehicle spawning process has been refined.
  • Officers now follow the player to the vehicle after surrender.

  • The surrendering message has been tweaked to stop displaying after a short amount of time.
  • The disable ride-to-jail feature has been improved.
  • The lockpick mini-game now correctly detects controller input.
  • The controls have been refined for a better user experience.
  • The bond-sheet now properly displays the name of the character.
